Biography

Dr. Mohammed Khashaba is an Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Cairo University, Faculty of Dentistry and in New Giza University. He has been practicing Maxillofacial surgery since 2005 in addition of being a visiting lecturer in various Universities as MUST University, Egyptian Russian University. He has been a director of many Basic Minor Oral Surgery Courses over the past 10 years. In addition to various international publications in high impact Maxillofacial Surgery Journals. He participated as an international speaker in various renowned International Congresses. His research interests are focused to Maxillofacial Traumatology, Bone regeneration and Reconstruction.

Abstract

Getting into the era of green dentistry in various branches, this should never be overlooked in the branch of bone grafting and substitutes. The aim of this lecture is to do a broad overview of the hemodiasylate, a natural blood extract, that has been abandoned for decades and has returned back showing various advantages in its qualities of bone regeneration, grafting, healing and lately in various branches such as wound healing, TMJ pathology and in periodontology.
