I am pleased to announce launching of the 19th International Congress (19th EDA IC) from 5-8 December 2023 at the World’s Greatest Open-air Museum, the ancient city Luxor, Egypt.
Our aim is to support and provide education and research all over Egypt and middle- east countries for better dental health care services to our community and to contribute to the public welfare.
This year 2023, the EDA will hold an International collaboration with the “World Academy of Ultrasonic Piezoelectric Bone Surgery (WAPUS)” which is an international organization including a group of distinguished speakers and experts in oral implantology.
On behalf of the EDA board I am welcoming you all to attend out 19th international congress to witness a great scientific event that will help augment and spread knowledge all around the world.

About EDA
The Egyptian Dental Association is considered to be one of the oldest global dental associations specializing in Oral and Dental health care.
The EDA was founded in 1937, established by a group of compassionate and committed professors and dentists with a goal to deliver recent knowledge and current updates in the dental field thus ensuring the well-being of their patients and the advancement of their specialty.
Its Bi-annual International Dental Congress is attended by more than 10,000 dentists from all over Egypt, Middle East countries and from all over the globe. EDA seeks to provide a platform for partnerships from all over the world aiming to move the sector forward.
The Egyptian Dental Journal (EDJ) was issued by the EDA at 1955. EDJ is considered to be one of the leading peer- reviewed dental journals in Egypt and Middle East countries supporting researches from different dental specialties aiming to advance the specialty; and to support its fellows and members through education, research and advocacy.

Dear colleagues and distinguished speakers,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you all to the WCUPS 2023 (World Congress of Ultrasonic Piezoelectric Bone Surgery 2023) in the beautiful city of Luxor, Egypt. As we gather here in this wonderful season of December, I feel honored and privileged to have you all with us.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I would like to express my heartfelt welcome to all the distinguished speakers and participants from both domestic and foreign countries. The success of last year’s WCUPS 2022 with over 500 attendees from 16 countries has set the bar high, and I am confident that this year’s congress will surpass all expectations.
The WCUPS 2023 is an excellent platform for sharing the latest trends, scientific information, and newest experiences related to various scientific fields of the invited speakers from around the world. It is our hope that with all the brilliant minds gathered here, there will be plenty of discussions on the development of the future. We have planned a diverse range of experiences and academic information to ensure that this congress is enriching and valuable for everyone.

is the international academy established in 2012, which is the 1st one in ultrasonic piezoelec-tric bone surgery. Dental clinic specialists as well as medical specialists in the related field have been registered as a member. Therefore, we would like to make it a worldwide academy to network new technology and information on ultrasonic piezoelectric bone surgery around the world.
